Teen High Sierra Backpacking & Survival Skills Program!
“As long as I live, I'll hear waterfalls and birds and winds sing. I'll interpret the rocks, learn the language of flood, storm, and the avalanche. I'll acquaint myself with the glaciers and wild gardens, and get as near the heart of the world as I can".” ― John Muir
WilderSkills Teen High Sierra Backpacking Skills Adventure
WilderSkills is excited to offer older WilderSkills campers the opportunity to attend our 6 day / 5 night backpacking adventure program in the High Sierras! This brand new experience will be the adventure of a lifetime as campers complete a 6 day / 20 mile hike-through adventure.
This Overnight Backpacking Adventure camp program offers WilderSkills campers a more focused opportunity to learn multi-day overnight outdoor adventure skills like ultralight backpacking skills, first aid training, overnight camping, outdoor cooking, games, overland navigation, sleeping under the stars, survival skills training, and more!
WilderSkills Staff: WilderSkills staff guides are highly experienced and trained outdoor guides and youth wilderness educators. Our staff is comprised of both male and female guides.
